The Mission

Posted on Mon Jun 10th, 2013 @ 9:37pm by Captain Vorn Krace

OK everyone,

That last bridge JP took a lot longer than I had hoped it would, but it is out now. We had a few issues with emails not getting sent out from the site during the past month or so, but that issues now seems to be resolved. Nevertheless, if you haven't been getting anything from the site in a good while, it never hurts to check in.

Now, I'm going to be starting the next few mission JPs and putting out a post or two myself tonight and tomorrow, but I'd like everyone else to start thinking of some posts or JPs you can do amongst yourselves. Some ideas that I can provide off the top of my head following on from our last major JP:

Reaction to the Cardassians being here. I know most of your characters are likely too young to have served in the War, but everyone was affected by it in some way or another, and the Cardies were big players in it.

Though we should be good for 72 hours at least, the nebula has a corrosive affect on the hull, so there will be procedures put in place to make sure that we're prepared if anything goes wrong and we get a hull breach. Any alterations to your normal schedule to accommodate those preparations could be a good post topic.

Our actual mission. Though the Cardassians have distracted the command staff somewhat, our original mission remains; we need to scan and map the nebula. Definitely one for science to work on, but other departments can have some sort of interaction with that as well, in their own ways.

That is by no means a definitive list, but it should be a good starting point for you all. You can also of course do backposts still taking place during our trip to the nebula, if you prefer. Either way, I do hope to see at least one post or JP or log from each of you within the next two weeks, to help us get moving along again.
